So, with the help of Adam we got everything out of the way up stairs.
Saturday we ripped up all the carpet and the flooring that it was glued too. Fun times.
With all that stuff out of the way we are now able to start framing the new closet.
Its starting to look good. This closet is going to add so much more room, its going to be nice.
We got our drywall and some 2×4’s today.
and the last of the old stuff out.
I was trying to be lazy and not move all of the furniture out of there, but I am now going to have to get it out of there. Its just to much to have to deal with. So thats my plan for the week.
We did start to run some wire for the ceiling fan that we will put in.
So progress is being made. Now it will slow down a bit, but we will get it done.
So we started our first major remodel project in our house. We are going to update the top floor in the house to make it a little bit more modern.

So our first step it to gut it, take down all the wonderful wood paneling:
So, now we are going to start putting up dry wall, and making it into a room again.
So we took Penelope to the Mn Zoo on saturday. Talk about a good time. Pennie did great, and we all had a good time. Of course I took a boat load of pictures as well:

For the past 7 years I have been driving my Jeep Wrangler.
She was a good car. She worked everyday with out complaining much. I will Miss her.
But, it is time for a different one. So I got myself a RAV4.
If this car is half as good as the Jeep, it will be good to me.
